There are two technologies for making this type of swimming pool: prefabricated and concrete.
Prefabricated technology consists of a modular structure made of 2 mm thick hot-dip galvanized panels with continuous SENDZIMIR system on sheet metal with double-sided cover.
Elastically boxed panels bolted together, supported by the buttresses and constrained to the bottom slab, enable the construction of a solid and sturdy structure.
The modularity of the structure makes it easy to make any type of shape with the possibility of customizing the tank.
In all cases, a plan issued by a licensed technician is required for the construction work necessary for the installation of the prefabricated structure.
POOL'S structures meet the NTC 2008 earthquake-resistant standard.
Available panel heights are mm 700, 1065, 1200, 1350 and 1500.
By including a diving hopper in the realization, even with 1500 mm high walls, a maximum water depth of 230 cm can be safely achieved.
Prefabricated structures offer many advantages:
- Speed of construction
- Smaller and therefore cheaper construction works
- Precise and reliable
- Lighter structures than concrete
- Possibility of above-ground, partially or totally underground installation
But also some disadvantages: the possibility of interior cladding only with LINER PVC, not tiles.
There are two types of skimmers: the classic skimmer with a 46 x 25 cm. mouth and the overflow skimmer with an 80 x 18 cm. mouth. Definitely the second one is more aesthetically pleasing and allows to reduce the gap between the water surface and the pool edge. The pool made of Concrete is certainly the most widely used method even today, this type allows to make Pools with any type of shape, size and height. It is necessary in any case a DRAFT issued by licensed Technician in which the thicknesses, iron reinforcements and heights are highlighted.
This type of pool allows the widest choice of interior lining:
- PVC Liner
- Tiles
- Mosaic
- Stone, slate or similar
- Plaster or waterproofing mortar
It can be installed in almost any environment and also allows it to support ground buoyancy, in case of pools installed on sloping terrain.
