A crucial aspect of ensuring the aesthetics and functionality of the pool is the careful selection of the sun deck flooring, pool deck surround, overflow grating, and Mosaik side fascia.
The flooring must not only be slip-resistant to ensure safety, but also blend harmoniously with the surroundings and the tub. There is no fixed rule for choosing colors and materials: each client decides according to his or her personal feelings and preferences, while we offer advice based on our experience.
The choice of flooring depends on several factors, such as the type of coping, the interior pool liner, the outdoor environment, the location, and the surrounding décor. Options include flooring in Travertine, Slate, Quartzite, Cotto, and exotic wood.
For perimeter edges, we offer concrete and marble grit solutions with pebble inserts, Travertine edges with non-slip sections and natural stone, ideal for rustic settings. We also have a wide range of materials for overflow grates, displayed in our showroom, where you can personally view different types.
An essential accessoryfor any pool, whether skimmer or partial overflow, is the Mosaik perimeter band. This optional element protects the pool walls in contact with the waterline, preserving them over time. The waterline is often subject to the effect of the so-called "black line," caused by water impurities accumulating on the surface. In PVC-lined pools, this phenomenon can cause unsightly yellow, green or brown stains, creating discomfort for users.
By placing ceramic tiles or mosaics at the top of the wall, the liner is prevented from staining, ensuring that the pool is always clean, neat, and visually pleasing.
